IBN Malayalam is a proud member of the Media9 Digital Media Federation (MDMF). MDMF is an independent Level-II Self-Regulatory Body (SRB) officially registered and recognized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB), Government of India, under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical journalism, transparency, and accountability. For any grievances regarding our content, viewers can reach out following our standardized grievance redressal mechanism.

We publish news, current affairs, analysis and multimedia content through our website and official social media platforms.

We adhere to the highest standards of journalistic ethics and are committed to follow the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Norms of Journalistic Conduct issued by the Press Council of India.

Accuracy, fairness, transparency, accountability and public trust form the basis of our editorial philosophy. Efforts are made to verify information for accuracy before publication by referencing reliable and credible sources.

Editorial decisions are independent and not affected by political, commercial or personal interests. We aim to report the news fairly and objectively, and to respect the dignity, privacy and rights of individuals.

We do not knowingly spread false information, defamatory material, hate speech, unlawful content or content that promotes violence, communal disharmony or threatens national security. We will review and amend any factual inaccuracies we discover promptly. Significant corrections or updates may be accompanied by an editorial note where appropriate.

IBN Malayalam has provided a Grievance Redressal Mechanism under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, for complaints on the content published on our website or official digital platforms. Any person who believes that any content published is in contravention of any applicable law or journalistic ethics or their legal rights, may submit a grievance to our Grievance Officer for redress.

We ask complainants to provide their full name, email address, contact number, URL of the article or content in question, date of publication (if available), a clear explanation of the grievance and any supporting documents or evidence, to enable us to process complaints efficiently.

No anonymous, incomplete or malicious complaints shall be entertained.IBN Malayalam shall ordinarily acknowledge receipt of a grievance within 24 hours of receiving it. Our editorial team and the Grievance Officer will review the complaint as per the applicable laws and our editorial standards.

Where possible a response/resolution will be communicated within 15 days of receipt of the complaint. The findings may lead to correction, clarification, updating, removal of content or rejection of the complaint with appropriate reasons.If you believe that any content published by IBN Malayalam infringes your copyright or any other intellectual property rights, please provide us proof of ownership along with URL of the allegedly infringing content, description of the copyrighted work and your contact details.

Copyright complaints found to be in accordance with applicable Indian law shall be reviewed and acted upon expeditiously.IBN Malayalam is committed to transparency and editorial accountability. We welcome readers’ reports of factual inaccuracies or ethical concerns so they may be considered without undue delay.
